Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training
The Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, with the Amrit Nam Sarovar School (ANS), is a wonderful adventure in consciousness.  Some people begin the training as they wish to become a teacher of Kundalini Yoga, other people want to immerse themselves in a spiritual practise and some people simply love what the experience of the yoga gives them and want to learn and experience more.

The training takes place on an annual basis.  The training in Brighton (as part of the Amrit Sarovar School) is facilitated by Ishwara and comprises attendance at five weekends in Brighton and a week in France in July.  For the week in France we are joined by all the other students from many other countries who have also completed five weekends and join us for a 'Teachers Festival'.  There are usually 150 to 200 students, creating a very large ashram!

The training begins on the Saturdays at 9.30am continuing until approximately 9.00pm.  It continues on the Sundays with Sadhana at 5.00am and finishes at approximately 5.00pm.  Sadhana (yoga and meditation in the early morning) is an integral part of the training.  In order to qualify you must attend all weekends, the intensive week and a day of White Tantra.  Also, about three months after the intensive week you will be invited to take a written exam.  Seva (selfless service) including food preparation, dish washing etc. is an integral part of the course.  The Intensive week takes place at Domaine Le Martinet, close to Grenoble (France).  It begins at 7.30pm on the Saturday and finishes at 8.00am after Sadhana on the Sunday.
