Level 1 Teacher Training in Devon

The Kundalini Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training in Devon in 2012 will take place in north Devon (Combe Martin) and will be made up of four segments, two of 5 days and two of 6 days. The whole training will take place within 2012.

The Teacher Training gives you an understanding of the tools of Kundalini Yoga, both for your own use and, of course, for sharing with others. It is also an opportunity to delve deeply into your consciousness. To challenge your limitations so that you may move towards your potential and your destiny.

The training is certified by KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) and is a 220 hour course. On completion of all elements of the course you will be issued with a certificate.

Ishwara Kaur is the main teacher. There will be two or three additional teachers, namely Kirpal Singh and Gobinde Singh.

There will be a maximum of 12 students on the training.

Requirements

As well as attendance at the four segments of the training, there will be some homework and personal practise required through the period of the training.

In order to complete your training the following is required within two years of the commencement of the course:

attendance at all parts of the training;

teaching a class to the required standard;

attendance at a minimum of 20 Kundalini Yoga classes;

completion of at least 40 continuous days of the given meditations & kriyas;

pass mark or above on the written examination;

attendance at a day of White Tantric Yoga; - takes place in London in 2012 on 21st January and in other European cities throughout the year.

acceptance of the Code of Professional Standards for Kundalini Yoga Teachers (minimally as an aspiration to live up to).

The training is residential. During the training attendance at sadhana (the early morning practise) is required and participation in Seva (selfless service) is an integral part of the training.

Dates

Arrival is always in the evening on the first date given and departure is first thing in the morning on the last date given. The first and third segments are 5 days of teaching. The second and fourth segments are 6 days of teaching.

Costs

The price is inclusive of all teachings, accommodation and food.

£1,995.00 payable in four instalments. Each instalment being due two weeks before the beginning of each segment of the training.

£1,940.00 if all is paid in full at least one week prior to the start of the training.

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to confirm your place.

Extras: cost of Aquarian Teacher Training Manual approximately £80.00 - I will order these in bulk for everyone. Cost of the day of white tantric yoga.

If you will be travelling by car there is the possibility of free parking if a space is available. Where this is not possible a space can be provided for you at a cost of £1.50 per day.
